I need help with my ipod touch 2gen?

my ipod touch is disable and now and im trying to get rid of the password by restoring it...obviously it didn't work...i put it into dfu mode and then restoring it with a firmware i downloaded...but it gave me the 3194 error...i also put it to the screen where it says to plug it into itunes but same thing code appears..so now i dont know what to do.
