I need help on getting my ps3 to work?

Yeah I have an old PS3 too. If you it says you have a corrupt hard drive there is no way to fix that unless you get a new hard drive for it. When I upgraded my PS3's hard drive I upgraded it with a corrupt one without knowing. So I had to put back in the original 80 gb that came with it and that fixed all the problems the hard drive caused. The PS3's not burnt out, the hard drive's just messed up. Back up your saved data onto an external hard drive so you won't lose anything when putting in the new hard drive.
