ok so my ipod had a lot of extra stuff on it i no longer wanted so i restored it (used the restore on the ipod not from itunes but when you go into settings and restore everything) so i did that and it showed a logo with a loading bar, took about 45 minutes to complete then a apple startup icon turned on and the loading wheel.. waited about ten minutes and it went black then did the loading wheel again.. it has been doing this for a while so i decided to hold the wake/sleep and home button to manually turn it off but that doesnt seem to be working (its also not popping up on my itunes) what can i do?

My internet won't let me load some pages URGENT NEED PLEASE!?

Okay, I was trying to access some pages for my summer school assignment, and my computer went through one of those windows autmatic updates. I wasn't there to postpone it, so when i got back it had restarted itself. I went and logged in normally, and to my surprise it won't let me load some sites. These are sites I'd regularly visit. My online summer school class, a writing site, forums I post on, etc etc. They just won't load. It will load other pages like facebook, yahoo, etc. The internet browser tries to switch into compatibility mode, but it doesn't work. I switched over to google chrome which i have but never used and the same thing happened. Okay, I'm like something is REALLY wrong. There was no system restore point for me to go back to, and this problem is still happening while I am in safemode with networking. Now, I'm scared, and don't know what to do. This computer doesn't belong to me, its my grandmother's, and I'm using it to do my summer school which it won't let me get to. I need to know what's going wrong, because I'm on the verge of crying this second. You're never too old... I'm starting Accounting (in Australia) and I'm 58. So what. In Australia you can get an accounting degree then work for yourself. If you work for yourself, then no one is going to ask you how long you have been doing the work. However you seem to have had employment in the finance and banking areas, so I can't see how getting an Accounting degree would be a totally new career for you. Have you though about moving to Australia to do your course at one of the Uni's here?

The religion is more about teaching and doing good rather than just following a god. Since the main god is not the Indian Buddha (who I believe was the spoiled Prince who sought peace), would this religion still be considered Buddhism? Or is it just a mixture of Buddhism ideas and Taoist traditions?

Marriage hasn't failed, and its not a construct some 100 years old, its around as long as recorded civilization. What has happened is progressive liberals have realized that reducing your reliance on existing old institutions like church + marriage increases your reliance on government, which increases their power. So they have pursued over the last few hundred years policies that do all they can to break down existing institutions other then government. Its pretty obvious if you look at it - support for vague spirituality but any specific religion is a problem, teaching that the children are more important than the spouse, the whole "do what feels good" movement, etc.

Restoring your phone doesn't delete the stuff from your memory card. You have to do that separately. Which then should erase all that stuff you don't want.

Can I get my ignition Interlock off without unrestricted license in Pa?

Ok so here's the problem...I am eligible to get my ignition interlock off, however Penndot never sent me the forms to get my unrestricted license. So I sent in the form myself, but as it turns out, I downloaded an old version with an outdated price of $10. It's now $13.50 to restore my license. My interlock is set to be serviced on monday. I don't have the money to pay another $200 when I shouldn't have to anyway, seeing as tho my time served is up. The mechanic said he'd take it off, but I'm supposed to have my reinstated license in hand. WIll penndot come after me for such a minor technicality? I won't be driving until I get my license back, I just need it taken off before I have to face another $200 in rental fees. I don't want to have Penndot coming after me. But I had a set amount of money set aside for this, and I literally don't have the money to keep it on. What should I do?

Previous employer possibly giving me a negative reference?

I previously worked for a well-known medical university in New York City, as an administrative assistant. It was a part-time position that only last five months, as I left the country for a Fulbright fellowship and quit - with over a month's a notice, and trained my replacement. Upon my return, and upon receipt of my Master's in Arts this June, I am currently applying to positions and using my previous supervisor as one of my references. While we did not have a stellar personal relationship, professionally, I was always on time, reliable, did my work and tried to not only meet but exceed expectations, and never called out. The previous girl in my position did not get along well with this supervisor, and even the HR department was privy to how difficult it was to get along with this particular supervisor (which is why it was so difficult to constantly fill the position). I've only been working after college for three years, but I've had shining references before this position, and I work hard to pay rent, tuition, etc. Recently, one of my prospective employers told me that they will be issuing me an offer letter after checking into my references. I emailed for follow up on said references, and got a response that said "Thank you for your interest, but we've decided to go with another candidate and made this decision yesterday." After asking this prospective employer about my references, she said they all got back to her - and I am personally under the impression that this particularly supervisor gave me a negative review, as all of my other references I still keep in close contact with. Plain and simple, what can I do to look into this matter further? I'm 25 years old and looking for "real" jobs now - I don't need this woman plaguing my track record of normally stellar performances. It was also a very good job and looks great on my resume, and I don't want to omit it. I know that it's a possibility that this company really did go with an internal candidate at the last moment, but I don't really believe that - what legitimate, well-reputed organization offers you a job, and then pulls out last minute, coincidentally just after checking your references? Any advice would be helpful - I am angry and frustrated, and I don't want this to be repeated with other potential positions.
